The KwaZulu-Natal Club started as a branch of the Land Rover Owner's Club of Southern Africa in 1989, but became a separate entity in March 1996.  The club is a member of the Association Of All Wheel Drive Clubs, Southern Africa (AWDC SA)

The Club's objectives are to :

  • bring together the owners of Land Rover manufactured vehicles
  • organise functions for members (see 'Club Diary')
  • encourage members in advancing their knowledge, skills, use and maintenance of their Land Rovers;
  • promote facilities for members to have access to spare parts and technical know-how;
  • encourage  restoration and maintenance of Land Rovers;
  • provide facilities for driver improvement and vehicle knowledge;
  • arrange venues for off-roading;
  • promote conservation and the love of the outdoors;
  • promote relationships with clubs having similar objectives.
